Vote!

Teens' Top Ten is a "teen choice" list, where teens nominate and choose their favorite books of the previous year! You can vote for three books. I hate to admit that I have only read one of the books on the list, Breaking Dawn (gee, wonder if anyone is voting for that????) I've read a lot of teen books this summer, they just weren't published in 2008!

So Go Here and check out the list! You may get ideas for more books to read. I did!

Voting is open Aug. 24 through Sept. 18, 2009. Winners will be announced in a webcast during Teen Read Week, Oct. 18-24.

More New Books

Both are sequels. Catching Fire is sequel to Collins' Hunger Games and Sent is the sequel to Found. They fit in nicely with this year's official Teen Read Week slogan, Read Beyond Reality.

New book

I loved her Irish 'others' series, The New Policeman and The Last of the High Kings. This one sounds delish, too. You've got a teen growing up bad in the big city, so his mom resettles the family in the country - nothing for the kid to get into trouble with there, right??

New Manga

I'm not sure why I requested this: let me know if I should continue getting the series . . .

Avatar, IMAX, free preview of Dec 18 movie

Find out more here.

And here.

I don't think it has anything to do with our beloved anime. Further searching reveals that I am right.
